Spiders of the Midwest.

Let’s face it, most people do not want to live around these creepy, crawly, creatures.  There are some who believe that some spiders around the house are good because they eat other pests.  That may be true, but if you have a spider infestation in your West-central Illinois or Northeast Missouri home you might well say “enough is enough”.

By far, the most common biting spider found in our area is the Sac Spider.  They are not terribly poisonous to humans, but their bite can be downright irritating.  Other types of spiders may be found in our area such as Brown Recluses or Northern Widows.  They are all nasty, that’s for sure and they don’t belong in your home!
